Peer-Review Process
The objective of the journal is to provide a platform for faculty, research scholars and
practitioners of management & IT discipline globally to highlight new knowledge, innovation,
technology usage and latest tools of research in the areas of Information Technology and
Management. Peer review is implemented in I4 for ensuring the quality of research paper.
I4 is following blind review process in which neither author nor reviewers know each other.
The peer review process is as follows:
1.Submission of Paper by the author
The research papers are submitted by the authors through mail. The acknowledgment of
submission and the code number of research paper is given to the author. Each submitted paper
is coded by hiding the author details.
2. Invitation to Reviewers
The Invitation to the reviewers are sent on the basis of expertise domain
3. Response to Invitations
As per the response the coded research paper and the coded review sheet is sent to the reviewer
as per their expertise.A reviewer is asked to evaluate whether the manuscript is original, relevant,
clear, whether it correctly references previous work, and whether it falls within the scope of the
journal.
4. Compiling of Review result
Assistant editor compile all the review results and verify it with editor in chief before
communicating to authors.
5. The Decision is communicated
If accepted, the paper is sent to production. If the article is rejected or sent back for either major
or minor revision, the handling editor should include constructive comments from the reviewers
to help the author improve the article. If the paper was sent back for revision, the reviewers
should expect to receive a new version, unless they have opted out of further participation.
However, where only minor changes were requested this follow-up review is done by the editor.
The editor sends a decision email to the author including any relevant reviewer comments.
